I wanted to offer the opportunity for people to follow my horse race picks and handicapping. I have $25,000 of working capital to invest at the horses.
The keys to my handicapping:
1. Pace Analysis using Brisnet Handicapping and Pace Figures
2. Using Barry Meadows Value Wagering - finding win bets that offer value (50% above what your calculated odds are).
3. Winnable Pick 6 pools (singles identified).
4. The occasional Pick 4 ticket.
STARTING CAPITAL $25,000.00 JUNE 11TH, 2010. My goal is to grow this money to $200,000 no later than December 31st 2010. Wish me luck and feel free to utilize my strategies and/or picks.
Singles - Playing the Pick 6
This horse racing blog is dedicated to Finding "Singles" -- "Singles" is a term used by horseplayers to define those important horses used on a Pick 6 ticket that you choose to carry one race. Without them, the Pick 6 ticket would be too expensive. I will give out tips for you to use in a Pick 6 ticket, or to bet to Win or in a Pick 3 or Pick 4. My handicapping is based on pace and the use of Brisnet's past performances.

Starting a Blog on Handicapping -- My Six- Figure Pick 6 Scores of 2008
I won two six-figure Pick 6 scores in the week of Christmas 2008 -- a $200,000 plus score at Fairgrounds on December 22 -- http://www.fairgroundsracecourse.com/news/archives/seattle-handicapper-nails-181k-fg-pick-5 and a $115,000 score at Hawthorne on December 27th. Both, obviously, were done after huge carryovers for these medium sized tracks. At Fairgrounds -- I was the sole winner. At Hawthorne, I split a pot with two others.
These scores as well as my desire to connect with a community of horse players prompted me to start this blog. Internet horse playing is often a solitary activity and I thought by starting this blog -- I might be able to create a dialogue with others about handicapping in the 21st century. Paceadvantage.com is an excellent message board which I post at and read at frequently, but I wanted to further extend the conversation here.
